The painting of the dormouse sheltering under a toadstool is painted over the poem ‘The Elf and The Dormouse’ – although the painting does not feature the elf. This is the part of the story whilst the dormouse is sleeping. The Elf and the Dormouse is a mixed media original on a 6″ square wrapped canvas with gray painted sides.
